Vintage Hungarian traditional costume from Györgyfalva Transylvania

Very nice costume and rare one in this size. In good to very good condition with normal traces of wear for a vintage item .

Approximate measure is M or M/L with the following dimensions for the blouse :

under armpit to under armpit: 75 cm or 29. 5 inches

around neck: 32. 5 cm or 12. 8 inches + the strings

around cuffs: 16. 5 cm or 6. 5 inches + the strings

blouse length: 52 cm or 20. 47 inches

sleeve length measured from the base of the neck, including the cuffs: 62 cm or 24. 4 inches

The measures are taken when the blouse is lying flat.

Condition: good to very good. No noticeable flaw, no repair. The black hand embroidery is discolored. It has plenty of material to fit including to XL size but you have to pay attention to neck and cuff dimensions so this is the reason for I say that it will fit to M or M/L size.

The skirt is pleated by hand according to the old traditional techniques. It is made of light black cotton fabric and it is decorated with green ribbon around the lower part. It is very wide and adjustable with strings around waist

The apron is made of light cotton: burgundy with white stripes and a green stitch
