Vintage Romanian traditional shirt for men from Transylvania

This is an old traditional Romanian shirt, a men's shirt from Transylvania. It is hand-sewn on medium-thick homemade fabric with multicolored cotton thread: yellow, green, brown, and black.

It features a tunic collar, wide sleeves, and hand embroidery on the chest, collar, sleeve hems, and the bottom part. It has no defects, except for some inherent irregularities in handwoven fabric, as seen in the last photo, where there are some thicker threads in the warp at the back of the shirt. This is a common occurrence in handwoven fabric.

It is clean, washed, and ready to wear. The men's size M-L has the following dimensions:

Neck: 35 cm ( 13.8 " )

Shoulder + sleeve, measured from the base of the neck: 76 cm ( 30 " )

Sleeve seam: 46 cm  ( 18.11 )

Chest circumference: 150 cm ( 59 " )

Shirt length: 122 cm ( 48 " )

Approximately 60-80 years old.

It can also be worn as an urban folk-inspired dress by women. In this case, the size is L-XL, but in all cases, please check the dimensions.
