Hand embroidered Romanian folk shirt for men

This is a stunning traditional shirt handmade in Romania's Transylvania region, specifically in Banat. Its beautiful white silk embroidery is displayed on the chest creating an impressive pattern. The fabric of the shirt is made of the  hand woven cotton material .

This Romanian traditional shirt is designed for a man with M size or for a woman as a dress ( L-XL size for women ) with the following measurements: 

a 17-inch (43 cm) neck circumference

 a length of 43.3 inches (110 cm)

 and shoulders measuring 17 inches (43 cm) across. 

The sleeve length  is 24  inches (61 cm) with an additional cuff of 5.11 inches (13 cm).

The shirt has a 48-inch (12 cm ) circumference right under the armpits and a 54.33 inch (160 cm) waist circumference. 

The distance from the shoulder to the armpit is 7.87 inches (20 cm). The shirt is in good condition, with only minor signs of wear that are expected from a handmade fabric of this age.

The Romanian shirt is estimated to be at least 40 to 50 years old, or possibly older. It is a fantastic and unique piece that showcases the traditional clothing style of Transylvania.
